Dark Eldar Name Generator

Dark Eldar names are the Aeldari tongue with the music stripped out. Where Craftworld names flow (Eldrad, Taldeer, Yriel), Drukhari names bite: Asdrubael Vect, Lelith Hesperax, Urien Rakarth, Kheradruakh, Drazhar. Games Workshop builds them from hard clusters such as kh, dr, zh, x and sk, doubled consonants (Kruellagh, Yllithian), and endings like -ax, -ath, -ekh, -aesh and -ul. Female names often keep a softer first syllable and a cruel second one (Lelith, Malys, Saelinne); male names lean on heavier stops (Vect, Sathonyx, Sliscus).

Titles are part of the name in Commorragh. Kabals are ruled by Archons, with Dracons and Sybarites beneath them; Wych Cults answer to a Succubus, with Hekatrixes and Bloodbrides; Haemonculus Covens follow an Ancient or a Master Haemonculus, and their creations carry surgical epithets. Incubi, Scourges, Mandrakes and Hellions are often named by deed rather than lineage: the Decapitator, Flayer of Hopes, the Whisper. Epithets should sound like threats, not poetry.

Factions need names too. Kabals take a sinister image (Black Heart, Poisoned Tongue, Flayed Skull, Obsidian Rose), Wych Cults a word for pain or combat (Strife, Cursed Blade, Red Grief), and Covens something anatomical or heretical (Prophets of Flesh, Dark Creed).
