About Bungo Stray Dogs names

Bungo Stray Dogs has one of the most recognisable naming rules in anime: every ability user is named after a real author, and their power is named after one of that author's works. Osamu Dazai's ability is No Longer Human, Atsushi Nakajima's is Beast Beneath the Moonlight, Akutagawa fights with Rashomon, and The Guild's Fitzgerald wields The Great Fitzgerald. The series draws first on Meiji, Taisho and Showa-era Japanese literature, then on American, Russian, French and British classics for its foreign factions, so an OC that follows the same logic instantly feels like it belongs in Yokohama.

This generator mixes three kinds of names. Canon characters cover the Armed Detective Agency, Port Mafia, The Guild, Rats in the House of the Dead, the Hunting Dogs and the light-novel casts.
