Bingo has its own slang, and the best bingo names borrow from it. Daubers and dabbers are the ink markers, a blackout or cover-all is a full card, a full house is the UK equivalent, and one away is the agony of needing a single number. What you need depends on who is asking. A pub, brewery or drag show wants an event name with energy (Boozy Bingo, Rebel Bingo, Bingo After Dark). A charity or church fundraiser wants something warm and clear (Bingo for a Cause, Charity Cover-All). A table of regulars wants a team name with a joke in it, usually about losing (Always One Away, Shouted Too Soon) or about age and ink (Blue Rinse Brigade, Marker Mafia). Callers and superstitious players collect alliterative nicknames like Blackout Barbara or Jackpot Jack.
