Chocolate Bar Name Generator

Chocolate bar names split into two families. Mass-market candy bars use short, punchy, often nonsensical words that are easy to shout and easy to trademark: think one or two syllables, hard consonants, and a hint of energy or fun (Crunch, Snap, Bolt, Kapow). Craft and bean-to-bar makers go the opposite direction, borrowing the language of wine and coffee: origin, percentage, bean variety, and process (Madagascar 70, Criollo, Stone Ground, Single Origin). Knowing which shelf you're aiming for decides which half of this list to pull from.

The origin and variety names here are real. Criollo, Trinitario, Forastero, and Nacional are the main cacao types; Chuao, Piura, Arriba, Ben Tre, and Maya Mountain are actual growing regions that appear on premium bar wrappers. Percentages like 70 or 85 refer to cacao content, and 'blonde' or 'caramelized white' describes white chocolate that's been slowly cooked until it tastes of dulce de leche. Ruby is a fourth chocolate type introduced in 2017, naturally pink and slightly tart.

A good bar name is one that fits on a wrapper at arm's length, sounds good spoken aloud at a checkout counter, and either tells you the flavor or promises a feeling. Inclusion names (Sea Salt Caramel, Rose & Pistachio) sell on ingredients; brand names (Wonderbar, Nib Nation) sell on personality.
